Finally, we show today a parasitic plant. Yes, parasitic on other plants, shrubs as matomoro and matabrusca living in the crozes.

As its name suggests, the Asphodelus fistulosus is small relative of the summer asphodel. The latter is perennial, much larger, and lives mainly in something fresh and moist, as on top of some mountain areas for Jandia ravines.

Although in some places cow tongue is a delicacy, here today we talk about the Language of blue cow (Echium bonnetii), a beautiful plant that reigns after the rains on the island of Fuerteventura and uneatable. The intense blue color of this plant is unmistakable.

This week we are not going to present gardening plants. It rained well two months ago, and there were occasional moderate rain later. The "majoreros" fields are green and begin to fill with flowers.
